Music Fun at Eagle Bay

Feature photo: is Chris Steven, Bluegrass master banjo and guitar player, performing at Eagle Bay Coffee House last Saturday nite.

I love to sing and play music with my guitar at the local coffee houses in the Shuswap. Last nite, being the 4th Saturday of the month, we all got together at Eagle Bay Community Hall. When people arrive, they pay three bucks, or agree to perform three songs. It’s a lot of fun.

This is Lynn Sande at Eagle Bay. She is a favorite on the circuit.

Saturday night featured about eight acts, and about thirty five locals were in attendance. Not bad for Eagle Bay. The people running things were terrific as usual. They are very organized and provide the stage and sound equipment, the hot coffee, and the snacks. Home baking is always a treat. The smiles are no extra charge.

Here’s a very rough video made with my smart phone.

Stu and Shirley (below) are a favorite Gospel duo who have one album to their credit.

Next Saturday night is Carlin Hall’s turn, see you there. Cheers.
