RV Jesus Walk

Sharing the Gospel of JesUs Christ

About Us

Hey people!
Welcome to Jerry Joe Black com.

I have been living full time in my motorhome, travelling and boondocking all over BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan for over four years.  She's an old girl, but solid.  I'm learning every dayabout maintenance, and fervent prayer.  The Lord has kept me safe in His care. Praise Jesus!

The amazing Cathedral Grove en route to Port Alberni.

My Lord has called me to be a witness to those that live on the road.  They are the rolling homeless.  For one reason or another, they lost their homes. to join thousands who are homeless.  Bouncing back to normal can be a long hard road. They need Jesus.

In today's Canada, it doesn't take much to find yourself living in a van, down by the river.  A divorce, a death in the family, or simply loosing ones job.  Boom, you're homeless and you're on the bread line.   We are living through a merciless housing crisis.

At first I was only concerned about myself.  I was learning the ropes of  my new gypsy lifestyle.  At first the others were invisible to me, but now I see them.  They're everywhere,  from all locations, and from all walks of life.

I began to meet them one by one.  I met them in service stations,  at highway rest areas,  in parks, at grocery stores and camp grounds, and even in Walmart parking lots.

There are single men and single women. There are couples, and there are entire families.  And of course many have their pets.

Some do well and find full time work.  Some are old age pensioners with a disability.  Some live in their cars and have lost hope.

Thousands of average Canadians are living on the side of the road.  You probably drive past them every day, but you may not see them. Many are hurting and need Jesus.

The Gospel story  **is**  the power of God to them that believe.  He saves lives and brings hope.  Given the chance to offer the good news to people, I jump on it!  It's the very best I could offer.

Visiting a little church north of Parksville.

When I was a guest at a beautiful ranch in Alberta in 2022.

Spring 2024.
Today I still live full time in the Beast.  I am exploring  Vancouver Island right now.

I guess I just love to roam around and see what God is doing in His church.  I lend a hand where I can . I sometimes stay in a friend's driveway, rent a spot in a camp ground, or boondock anywhere that looks safe and legal.   I have an open invitation to park in the back lots of a few churches that know me,

Have wheels will travel.

Sunset in the Okanagan somewhere.

I love truck stops.  The hum of  diesels  refers. The smell of diesel. This is in Kananaskis.

I've had many opportunities to share the gospel of Jesus with travelers at truck stops.

My mission to share Christ, began in earnest May 1st 2020.   I have been sowing seed every place I go, and now I'm starting to see the fruit.  Praise God.  If he can use me,  he can surely use you!

God bless you for praying with me, for souls.  There's no better way to spend one's retirement!
